Break O'Day, our Stabicraft

Our New Zealand built 6.59 metre Stabicraft sports a 5mm thick hull built of low-maintenance, marine-grade aluminium alloy. It is highly manoeuvrable and has a 200 litre underfloor fuel tank onboard to give it extended range. It features Stabicraft’s positive buoyancy™ tubes and characteristic hull shape with stepped chines.

The vessel is powered by twin 115hp Evinrude E-TEC outboard engines for power and redundancy and can carry up to 7 persons. Radios and equipment include a

  • VHF
  • UHF (27Mhz)
  • Furuno 1630 radar and
  • Seiwa Oyster plotter/sounder.

Crew wear Stormy Seas PFD’s and personal EPIRBS (donated by the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania).

It is our vessel of choice for short range missions and barway escorts for smaller vessels.
